Architecture of Soul
The basic idea of this series
The soul of a human being can be compared to a building.Every building has its unique, individual architecture.
Two identical buildings do not exist.
Various rooms, long floors, complex corridors, stairs, unexpected staircases
and descents rotate in endless movement. - The soul remains in an everlasting metamorphose.
Stairs running up and down: in towers, unexpected spaces, on balconys, in empty cambers and parlors
with no roofs. Sometimes there occur abysms and dangerous gaps - where one expects a save asylum...
The front of the house doesn't imply the muddled labyrinth, which is hidden behind it.
The architecture of the „soul-building“ is multilayered and unseizable for logic comprehension.
Although the building structure remains vivid, it conceals numerous secrets - some of the doors stay closed
forever.
This series is my attempt to grasp the „soul-building“ of people I know.
I started drawing the character with my eyes closed, in order to grasp it's essence intuitively - not using
my logic.
One can regard this series as a kind of „soul-portraits“.
